The Pogues Live at Grappas Cellar
The legendary Irish folk-punk band The Pogues were on hand at Grappa's Cellar on Friday night as the main act for a top secret party hosted by Adam Keswick of Jardine Matheson. The band played a string of crowd favorites like Dirty Old Town and Fairytale of New York, whipping the audience into foot-stomping sing-alongs rarely witnessed this far East of the band's headquarters in London. Stattus' Simon Pang topped off the night with a little help from Casey Anderson, playing a uniquely British DJ set, from glam to ska - the icing on the cake for what was surely the greatest pub night ever in Hong Kong.

Marie Meili launches Very Victoria by Victoria Silvstedt
Marie Meili launched the new Very Victoria lingerie collection at the 50th Salon International De la Lingerie Paris this weekend. The collection was inspired by the seductive and glamorous Swedish model and actress Victoria Silvstedt. Stattus created two soundtracks for the events: An alluring set of sultry songs which helped to draw in the large crowd around the Very Victoria booth at the exposition in Paris, and another champagne-infused soundtrack that built anticipation and excitement during Ms. Silvstedt's personal appearance to mark the official launch.

We are honored to announce that after an exhaustive worldwide search, Shanghai Tang have selected Stattus to provide the music direction for the pioneering Chinese fashion brand. Their blend of Western modernity with traditional Chinese garments of the 1920's and 30's is distinctive in the world of fashion, and it required Stattus to curate a similarly outstanding music program to convey Shanghai Tang's elegance and individuality, utilizing music from both East and West, as well as modern interpretations of traditional Chinese music.

Chanel x Karl Lagerfeld "The Little Black Jacket" Exhibition Hong Kong Opening
Chanel's traveling photography exhibition, The Little Black Jacket, opened at The Space in Hong Kong last night. The photos and accompanying book are a celebration of Chanel's classic garment and include celebrities like Anna Wintour, Kanye West and Sarah Jessica Parker wearing it in their own way, as photographed by style mastermind Karl Lagerfeld. Actors, artists and tastemakers made up the audience for the Hong Kong launch, including Elisa Sednaoui, Cecile Cassel, Yi Zhou, Wyman Wong, Winifred Lai, Hilary Tsui and Tang Wei. Stattus' Casey Anderson was called on by Chanel to do a special live performance for the after-party, improvising on the guzheng (古箏 or Chinese harp) alongside DJ Ocean Lam's deep house in what was certainly an exciting take on the old "East-meets-West" expression. Karl Lagerfeld's The Little Black Jacket exhibition is now on display to the public until July 16 at The SPACE, 210 Hollywood Road, Hong Kong. Hours: 11AM-7PM
